The focus of my practice is real estate, business law and bankruptcy. My clients include small and middle market real estate companies that require general counsel and advice, and representation concerning purchases, sales, refinancing, leasing and general litigation. My firm represents over 200 cooperative apartment corporations and condominiums in the Greater New York City area. My work in consumer bankruptcy began 30 years ago when called upon to assist a personal friend deal with the financial consequences of his substance abuse. I have served as chair of the New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) Consumer Bankruptcy Committee and as a member of the NYCLA Business Bankruptcy Committee, and following their consolidation remain a NYCLA Bankruptcy Committee member. I currently serve on the bankruptcy, real estate and business law panels of the New York City Bar Legal Referral Service.
