Law and Lawyers in Nazi Germany
The eclipsing horror of the genocide committed by Nazi Germany between 1941 and 1945 can blind us to the facts that years of non-genocidal repressions preceded it and that lawyers were integral to the design and maintenance of the system.  This talk reviews the roles that lawyers played in the Third Reich and highlights the all-too-ordinary motivations behind the choices attorneys made.
